🔥 The Voice Cult: Live in London

You don’t need to “fix” your voice. You need to trust it.

Voice Cult is where you stop second-guessing and start speaking in a way that feels powerful, and real and completely your own.

It’s where you reclaim your voice and let it pull the right people straight to you.

Here’s what to expect ⬇️

A Resonant, Magnetic Voice

Your expertise has grown and evolved but we can’t hear that yet.

Discover the tones in your voice that are strong, warm, and trustworthy, so you don’t just speak louder, you speak with authority people love.

Master Calm in the Moment

You’re so good at preparing that you don’t have fun, you can’t connect to a crowd and it feels gross.

The key to accessing enjoyable talks is regulating your nervous system to stay grounded, playful , and present.

Persuasive Rhetoric

Improving a talk is terrifying if you go in cold.
Practice the art of story, rhythm, and imagery crafting messages that don’t just sound good, but land straight in your audience’s hearts (and stay there).

Magic Words that Move People

You’ll practice using your voice, words, and energy together to stir your audience — creating real connection, real recognition, and real momentum, without feeling fake, forced, or awkward.

Saturday, May 3rd | 12pm–2.30pm | Limited to 16 places | £40 First session £30

In-person Spontaneous Public Speaking Practice
With voice science coach + improv comedy teacher Sophie Pumphrey, MA

Learn how to speak off the cuff, with clarity, presence, and control over your voice.

What happens when theatre gamesPlatonic metaphysics, and nervous system regulation walk into a room?
Voice Cult happens.

This is for smart people who blank out, speed up, or feel like an imposter the moment they’re asked to speak up and want a way of showing up that’s both physiologically sound and emotionally honest.

🎙️ First Session: The One-Minute Oracle

Let’s look at what’s under the hood of a one-minute speech. What’s actually happening when you’re asked to improvise on a random topic? How to stop freezing up, looking awkward, sounding rough, wobbly or too-quiet or too-loud and start looking like your normal, likeable self but on stage.

  • The physical: nervous system regulation, HRV breathing, and body language that emotionally connects your ideas to your audience
  • The rhetorical: structure, storytelling, and figures of speech that make you sound clear, convincing, and human
  • The playful: how to enjoy the moment, create spontaneity, and keep the audience with you without losing yourself

This session is a pressure-tested lab for discovering how your voice really works when the stakes are real, but the environment is safe.

I don’t like it when public speaking advice is about looking confident instead of being clear, calm, and grounded. I’m the annoying kind of person who wants to understand how things work from the inside out—so I can actually use the skill when it counts.

I teach voice science, breath work, and improv comedy because those were the things that helped me stop dreading public speaking and start actually enjoying it. Rather than tips and tricks, I offer the principles that work across situations, personalities, and speaking styles.

This isn’t about performing. It’s about re-connecting with your own power and remembering that what you have to say is worth hearing.

Give your body, breath, and voice permission to work together again.
It’s weird. It’s precise. It’s surprisingly fun. And it works.
